Peanut Butter Balls with Rice Krispies

Ingredients:
1 cup powdered sugar
¼ cup softened butter
2 cups Rice Krispies cereal
1 cup crunchy peanut butter
Chocolate candy coating, as needed (for dipping)
54 mini muffin paper cups
Step 1: Mix the Peanut Butter Mixture
In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened butter, powdered sugar, and crunchy peanut butter. Stir until the mixture is smooth and fully combined.

Step 2: Add the Rice Krispies
Gently fold the Rice Krispies cereal into the peanut butter mixture. Stir until the cereal is evenly distributed and fully coated with the peanut butter mixture.

Step 3: Shape the Peanut Butter Balls
Using your hands or a small cookie scoop, form the mixture into small balls (about 1 inch in diameter). Place each peanut butter ball into a mini muffin paper cup. Once all the balls are formed, place them on a baking sheet and refrigerate for 30 minutes to firm up.

Step 4: Melt the Chocolate Coating
While the peanut butter balls are chilling, melt the chocolate candy coating according to the package instructions. You can melt it in the microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring in between until smooth, or melt it over a double boiler.

Step 5: Coat the Peanut Butter Balls
Once the peanut butter balls are firm, dip each one into the melted chocolate using a fork or dipping tool. Allow the excess chocolate to drip off, then return the chocolate-coated peanut butter balls to the mini muffin paper cups. Let the chocolate harden at room temperature or in the refrigerator.

Step 6: Serve and Enjoy
