* Salt and pepper, to taste
* 1 tsp Italian seasoning

* 4 cloves garlic, minced
* 1 cup heavy cream
* 1 cup grated Parmesan cheese
**For the Pasta:**
* 12 oz twisted pasta (e.g. fusilli, rotini, or gemelli)
* Salt, for boiling water
* Extra Parmesan, for topping (optional)

#### **Instructions**
1. **Cook Pasta:**
Boil pasta in salted water according to package directions. Drain and set aside.
2. **Sear Chicken:**
Season chicken breasts with salt, pepper, and Italian seasoning. Heat olive oil and butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear chicken 5–6 minutes per side or until golden and cooked through. Remove and set aside.
3. **Make the Sauce:**
In the same skillet, lower the heat slightly and add minced garlic. Sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant. Pour in heavy cream and bring to a gentle simmer.
4. **Add Cheese:**
Stir in Parmesan cheese and cook until melted and the sauce thickens slightly, about 3–4 minutes.
5. **Combine:**
Add the cooked pasta to the sauce and toss to coat. Slice the chicken and place on top. Spoon extra sauce over if desired.
6. **Garnish and Serve:**
Sprinkle with extra Parmesan or chopped parsley. Serve hot!
