This Turtle Caramel Cake is a truly indulgent dessert, combining the rich flavors of German chocolate cake with gooey caramel, crunchy pecans, and decadent chocolate chips. Ingredients:
Ingredient Quantity
Semi-sweet chocolate chips 1 cup (plus more for garnish)
Chopped pecans 2 cups (plus more for garnish)
Unsalted sweet cream butter, melted ¾ cup
Evaporated milk ½ cup
Caramel bits 1 (11 oz) bag
German chocolate cake mix 1 box
Whole milk 1 cup
Large eggs 3
Canola oil ⅓ cup
Chocolate fudge frosting 1 container
Instructions:
Preheat Oven & Prep Dish: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Spray a 9×13-inch baking dish with baking spray (like Pam).
Prepare Cake Batter: In a large bowl, using a hand mixer, beat the German chocolate cake mix, canola oil, large eggs, and whole milk together until the batter is combined and smooth.

First Bake of Cake: Pour half of the cake batter evenly into the prepared baking dish. Place it in the oven and bake for 15 minutes. Remove from the oven once baked.
