🔪 Ingredients
Seafood Filling:

1 tbsp olive oil or butter

2 garlic cloves (minced)

1 small onion (finely chopped)

1 lb shrimp (peeled, deveined, chopped)

1/2 lb lump crab meat (or imitation crab)

Salt and pepper, to taste

1 tsp Old Bay seasoning (optional, for seafood flavor)

1 tbsp fresh parsley (chopped)
White Sauce (Béchamel):
-
4 tbsp butter
-
1/4 cup all-purpose flour
-
3 cups whole milk (warm)
-
1/2 cup heavy cream
-
1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
-
Salt and pepper, to taste

1/4 tsp nutmeg (optional)
Cheese Layer:
-
15 oz ricotta cheese
-
1 egg
-
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
-
1/4 cup Parmesan cheese
-
1 tbsp fresh basil or parsley (chopped)

Salt and pepper, to taste
Other:

9–12 lasagna noodles (boiled or oven-ready)
-
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella (for topping)

Extra Parmesan for topping

Chopped parsley (for garnish)
👩🍳 Instructions
1. Cook the Seafood
-
Heat oil/butter in a skillet over medium heat.

Add garlic and onion, sauté until soft (2–3 min).
-
Add chopped shrimp, season with salt, pepper, and Old Bay. Cook until pink (about 2–3 minutes).

Stir in crab meat just to warm through.

Remove from heat, mix in parsley, and set aside.
2. Make the White Sauce

In a saucepan, melt butter over medium heat.

Whisk in flour and cook 1–2 minutes (don’t brown it).

Gradually whisk in warm milk and cream until smooth.

Simmer and stir until thickened (about 5–7 minutes).

Stir in Parmesan, season with salt, pepper, and nutmeg. Set aside.
3. Prepare Cheese Mixture

In a bowl, combine ricotta, egg, mozzarella, Parmesan, herbs, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
4. Assemble the Lasagna
In a 9×13″ baking dish:

Spread a small amount of white sauce on the bottom.

Add a layer of noodles.

Spread 1/3 of the ricotta mixture, 1/3 seafood, a bit of white sauce.

Repeat layers (noodles, ricotta, seafood, sauce) until done.

Top with remaining white sauce and shredded mozzarella.

Sprinkle extra Parmesan on top.
5. Bake

Cover with foil and bake at 375°F (190°C) for 30 minutes.

Remove foil and bake another 15–20 minutes, until bubbly and golden.
