Air Fryer Garlic Parmesan Chicken Skewers

Step 1: Marinate the Chicken

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the mayonnaise grated Parmesan cheese olive oil Montreal chicken seasoning garlic powder Cajun seasoning , and smoked paprika . Mix well to create a smooth marinade.
  2. Add the bite-sized chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring each piece is evenly coated. Cover the bowl with plastic wrap or transfer to a resealable plastic bag. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes (or up to 4 hours for deeper flavor).

Step 2: Prepare the Baste

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter chopped parsley minced garlic grated Parmesan cheese garlic salt , and black pepper . Set aside until ready to use.

Step 3: Assemble the Skewers

  1. Thread the marinated chicken pieces onto the skewers, leaving a small space between each piece to ensure even cooking.

Step 4: Cook in the Air Fryer

  1. Preheat your air fryer to 375°F (190°C) for 3–5 minutes. Lightly spray the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray or brush with oil to prevent sticking.
  2. Place the skewers in the air fryer basket, making sure they don’t overlap. Work in batches if necessary to avoid overcrowding.
  3. Cook the chicken skewers for 8–10 minutes , flipping halfway through, until the chicken is golden brown, crispy on the outside, and reaches an internal temperature of 165°F (74°C) .

Step 5: Baste and Serve

  1. Once the skewers are cooked, brush them generously with the prepared garlic-Parmesan baste while they’re still hot. This will help the flavors meld and create a rich, glossy finish.
  2. Sprinkle additional grated Parmesan cheese over the skewers for extra flavor and presentation.
  3. Garnish with more chopped parsley if desired and serve immediately
