Avocado Pit Tea: A Warming Wellness Brew
How to Make It
- Prep the Pit
- Rinse and dry the avocado pit.
- Carefully cut it into quarters or grate it using a microplane. (It’s tough — go slow.)
- Simmer the Tea
- Add pit pieces to a saucepan with water.
- Add cinnamon stick and lemon slice if using.
- Simmer for 25–30 minutes until the water turns amber.
- Strain & Sip
- Strain into a mug.
- Sweeten with honey if desired.
- Enjoy warm, especially after meals or before bed.
