1. Remove the plastic packaging
First, remove the packaging it came in from the store.

2. Prepare a cleaning bath

Fill a large container or the sink with water.

Add 2 tablespoons of distilled vinegar.

Soak the fruit for 10–15 minutes.
This helps eliminate bacteria and mold that accelerate decay.

3. Rinse and dry

Remove the fruit from the water.

Rinse well under cold water to remove the vinegar.

Dry with a paper towel or a clean cloth.

4. Pack in glass jars
