Cheesy Hamburger Potato Casserole

How to Make It

1️⃣ Preheat & Prep

  • Heat oven to 350°F (175°C)
  • Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish

2️⃣ Cook Beef & Onion

  • Sauté ground beef and diced onion until browned

3️⃣ Layer the Dish

  • Layer ¼-inch potato slices across the bottom
  • Sprinkle with salt and pepper
  • Add ⅓ of meat → ⅓ of cheese
  • Repeat for 3 total layers, ending with cheese on top

4️⃣ Mix Sauce & Pour

  • Combine cheddar soup, milk, and evaporated milk
  • Pour evenly over casserole

5️⃣ Bake Covered

  • Cover with foil and bake for 1 hour
  • Remove foil and bake 15 more mins to crisp the top
  • (Bake longer if potatoes are thicker)

6️⃣ Serve

  • Let cool slightly
  • Slice and serve warm as a full meal
