Chocolate Satin Frosting

Preparation

In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the chocolate in 30-second intervals until fully melted.

Add powdered sugar and hot water to the melted chocolate.

Beat in the egg, butter, and vanilla extract, mixing until smooth and free of lumps.

The frosting will be thin at this stage. Prepare a larger bowl filled with ice and a bit of water.

Place the bowl of frosting into the ice water bowl and whip until the consistency thickens.

Use the frosting to top the Feathery Fudge Cake or any cake of your choice. Enjoy!
