Cream Cheese Berry Cookies

Instructions

Heat oven to 350°F. Line baking pans. Toss strawberries with lemon juice. Drain after a few minutes.

Whisk flour, baking powder, salt.

Beat butter, cream cheese, sugar until fluffy. Add egg, vanilla. Mix in dry ingredients. Fold in white chocolate.

Coat drained strawberries with flour. Fold gently into dough.

Drop by tablespoons. Chill 5–10 minutes. Add sanding sugar if using. Bake 13–15 minutes until golden. Cool on wire racks.

Notes

Use fresh berries only.

Keep refrigerated.

Dough should be cold.

Can make gluten-free.

Don’t skip chilling step.
