Creamed Chipped Beef on Toast
Directions
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat.
Add the sliced dried beef to the skillet and cook for about 2 minutes, stirring occasionally.
Sprinkle the flour over the beef and stir to coat evenly.
Gradually add the milk, stirring constantly to prevent lumps.
Continue to cook and stir until the mixture thickens and becomes creamy, about 5-7 minutes.
Season with salt and pepper to taste
Serve the creamed beef over the toasted bread slices.
