Crispy roasted cauliflower

Here’s a simple and flavorful recipe for Crispy Roasted Cauliflower — golden on the outside, tender on the inside, and packed with savory goodness. Perfect as a side dish, appetizer, or healthy snack.

Crispy Roasted Cauliflower
Servings: 4
Prep Time: 10 minutes
Cook Time: 25–30 minutes
Total Time: 35–40 minutes

Ingredients:
1 large head of cauliflower, cut into florets

3 tablespoons olive oil

1 teaspoon garlic powder

1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika (or regular paprika)

1/2 teaspoon salt

1/4 teaspoon black pepper

1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese (optional, for extra crispiness)

Optional: pinch of red pepper flakes or fresh lemon juice for serving

Instructions:
Preheat oven:
Preheat to 425°F (220°C). Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper or foil.

Prepare the cauliflower:
In a large bowl, toss the cauliflower florets with olive oil, garlic powder, paprika, salt, and pepper until evenly coated.

Add cheese (optional):
If using Parmesan, sprinkle it in and toss again.

Arrange and roast:
Spread the cauliflower in a single layer on the baking sheet, making sure the pieces aren’t touching too much (space = crisp).

Roast:
Bake for 25–30 minutes, flipping once halfway through, until browned and crispy on the edges.

Finish and serve:
Taste and adjust seasoning. Optionally squeeze over fresh lemon juice or sprinkle with red pepper flakes. Serve hot.

Tips:
For extra crispiness, preheat the baking sheet in the oven before adding the cauliflower.

Don’t overcrowd the pan — use two sheets if necessary.

Leftovers can be reheated in a hot oven or air fryer to bring back the crunch.
