Instructions
Step 1: Making the Cream
In a medium saucepan, combine the milk, sweetened condensed milk, pineapple juice, and cornstarch. Cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until the mixture thickens into a smooth cream.
Step 2: Adding the Pineapple
Chop the reserved pineapple into small pieces and fold them into the cream. If the cream is too thick, add a little water to adjust the consistency.
Step 3: Assembling the Dessert
Grease a glass dish with caramel. Pour the pineapple cream into the dish and level it with a spatula for an even surface.
Step 4: Decorating
Place the reserved pineapple slices on top for a beautiful and festive presentation.
Step 5: Refrigerating
Refrigerate the dessert for at least 5 hours, or until completely set.
Extra Tip:
To easily unmold the dessert, slightly warm the bottom of the dish before serving.
