Forgotten Chicken and Rice

Instructions

1. Prep Oven & Pan

  • Preheat oven to 350°F (175°C).

  • Lightly grease a 9×13-inch baking dish.

2. Mix Base

  • In a bowl, combine soups, water, and instant rice.

  • Stir until smooth and pour into the prepared baking dish.

3. Add Chicken

  • Lay chicken breasts over the rice mixture.

  • Season with salt and pepper if desired.

4. Top with Onion Soup Mix

  • Sprinkle evenly over the chicken.

5. Bake Covered

  • Cover tightly with foil.

  • Bake for 60–90 minutes, until chicken is cooked through and rice is fluffy.

6. Cheesy Finish (Optional)

  • Uncover and sprinkle cheddar cheese on top.

  • Bake an additional 10 minutes until bubbly and golden.

7. Let Rest & Serve

  • Cool for 5 minutes before serving.

  • Spoon generous portions straight from the pan and enjoy!
