Give Your Geraniums New Life With Just One Spoonful: A Natural Soil Revitalizer

How to Apply It

  1. Prepare the Banana Peel:
Dry banana peels in the sun or a low oven until they are crisp. Then grind them into a fine powder using a blender or food processor. Alternatively, you can finely chop a fresh banana peel if you plan to use it immediately.

  2. Spoon It In:
Take one tablespoon of banana peel powder (or one spoonful of finely chopped peel) and sprinkle it around the base of your geranium, mixing it lightly into the top layer of soil.

  3. Water Gently:
Water the plant as usual to help nutrients start releasing into the soil.

  4. Repeat Monthly:
For ongoing results, repeat this treatment once a month during the growing season (spring through early autumn).

The Results

Within a week or two, you may notice a difference. The soil becomes looser and darker—signs of improved structure and microbial activity. New leaves begin to appear, and existing ones regain their vibrant green hue. Flowering may resume with renewed vigor, and the plant will generally look healthier and more robust.

This method doesn’t just improve the plant above the soil—it works at the root level, strengthening the plant from the inside out.
