Next, you’ll need to prepare the seed for planting. Some people like to suspend the seed over a glass of water using toothpicks, with the bottom half of the seed submerged in the water. Others prefer to plant the seed directly into a pot filled with moist potting soil. Whichever method you choose, make sure to keep the seed warm and moist, as this will help it germinate.
