How To Make Cabbage Beef Bake:
Step 1: Prep & Brown: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease a 9×13-inch baking dish. In a large skillet, brown the ground beef with the chopped onion over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink and the onion is tender. Drain any excess fat. Stir in the garlic powder, salt, and pepper.
Step 2: Layer: Layer half of the chopped cabbage into the prepared baking dish. Spoon the cooked beef and onion mixture over the cabbage and then sprinkle with the cooked rice. Pour over the undrained diced tomatoes.
Step 3: Add Broth & Bake: Add the remaining cabbage on top and gently pour the beef broth over the entire dish. Cover with aluminum foil and bake for 45 minutes.
Step 4: Finish & Serve: Remove the foil, sprinkle the cheddar cheese evenly over the top, and bake uncovered for another 10-15 minutes, or until the cheese is bubbly and slightly golden.
