Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
In a small saucepan over medium heat, combine the maple syrup, brown sugar, Dijon mustard, and butter. Stir until the sugar is dissolved and the mixture is smooth.
Slice the croissants in half horizontally and place them on a foil-lined baking tray.
Layer slices of ham inside each croissant.
Drizzle the maple glaze generously over the ham and croissants.
Bake in the preheated oven for 10-15 minutes, or until the croissants are golden brown and the glaze is bubbly.
Remove from the oven and let cool slightly before serving.
Garnish with fresh parsley before serving.
Variations & Tips
For a spicier kick, add a pinch of cayenne pepper to the maple glaze. If you have picky eaters, you can substitute the ham with turkey or chicken slices. For a vegetarian version, try using grilled vegetables like bell peppers and zucchini. You can also add a slice of cheese, such as Swiss or cheddar, to each croissant for an extra layer of flavor. If you prefer a less sweet glaze, reduce the amount of brown sugar or use honey instead of maple syrup.
