Just add this to my responsibilities already
1. In a large mixing bowl, combine ground pork, salt, black pepper, rosemary, thyme, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix until all ingredients are well incorporated.
2. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape each portion into a patty.
3. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
4. Once the oil is hot, add the patties to the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and cooked through.
5. Remove the patties from the skillet and let them rest for a few minutes before serving.
Variations & Tips
For a spicier version, add 1/4 teaspoon of crushed red pepper flakes to the pork mixture. You can also experiment with different herbs, such as sage or oregano, to suit your taste preferences. If you prefer a slightly sweeter sausage, consider adding a teaspoon of fennel seeds or a pinch of nutmeg. For those who enjoy a bit of crunch, finely chopped nuts like almonds or pecans can be added to the mixture.
