Ingredients
Ingredient Quantity
Ground pork sausage 1 pound
Cream cheese (softened) 1 (8 oz) package
Crescent roll dough (refrigerated) 2 cans (8 oz each)
Garlic powder ¼ teaspoon
Onion powder ¼ teaspoon
Black pepper ¼ teaspoon
Shredded cheddar cheese (optional) ¼ cup
Egg (beaten, for brushing) 1
Instructions
Cook the Sausage & Heat Oven:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C). In a large skillet over medium heat, cook the sausage until browned and fully cooked, breaking it apart as it cooks. Drain any extra grease.
Prepare the Filling:
In a bowl, mix the cooked sausage with softened cream cheese, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until well blended. If using cheddar cheese, stir it in at this point.
Fill the Crescents:
Unroll the crescent dough and separate it into triangles. Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture at the wider end of each triangle. Roll up the dough toward the pointed end, sealing the edges around the filling. Arrange the rolled crescents on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
Bake Until Golden:
Brush the tops of the rolls with the beaten egg for a glossy finish. Bake for 12–15 minutes or until puffed and golden brown.
Cool & Serve:
Let the crescents cool slightly before serving warm.
