Instructions:

Prepare the Meatloaf:
- Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
- Sauté onion and garlic in olive oil until softened.
- Combine ground beef, breadcrumbs, tomato sauce, egg, BBQ sauce, cooked onion/garlic mixture, peas, parsley, salt, and pepper in a large bowl.
- Transfer meat mixture to a loaf pan or shape into a loaf on a parchment-lined baking sheet.
- Bake for 45-50 minutes, or until internal temperature reaches 160°F (70°C).

Make the Mashed Potatoes:
- Boil peeled and cut potatoes until tender.
- Drain potatoes and return to pot.
- Add butter, heavy whipping cream, salt, and pepper.
- Mash potatoes until smooth and creamy.

Assemble and Serve:
- Let meatloaf rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Top mashed potatoes with shredded cheddar cheese.
- Serve slices of meatloaf with mashed potatoes. Optionally, broil mashed potatoes with cheese for a melted and bubbly topping.
