My family wants to eat this more often – quick and easy puff pastry pinwheels with cheese!

Preparation:

  1. Preheat the oven to 200°C (390°F) and line a baking tray with parchment paper.

  2. Roll out the puff pastry on a lightly floured surface.

  3. Spread a thin layer of mustard over the puff pastry (optional).

  4. Lay the ham evenly over the pastry, then sprinkle the grated cheese on top.

  5. Roll the pastry up tightly from one end.

  6. Using a sharp knife, cut the roll into 12 equal pieces.

  7. Place the pinwheels on the prepared baking tray, leaving about 5 cm (2 inches) of space between each.

  8. Brush the tops with beaten egg.

  9. Bake in the preheated oven for 18–20 minutes, or until the pastry is puffed and golden brown.

Enjoy warm or cold – perfect as a snack, party food, or quick lunch! 🧀🥐
