My grandmother’s recipe for the tastiest dinner that can be prepared in about ten minutes

1. Preheat Your Oven

Preheat to 180°C (350°F) to ensure even baking and a golden, bubbling top layer.

2. Cook the Stellini Pasta

Boil salted water in a large pot. Cook pasta al dente according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.

3. Prepare the Béchamel Sauce

  1. Melt 50 g butter in a saucepan over medium heat.

  2. Add 15 g flour, whisking continuously to form a roux. Cook 1–2 minutes.

  3. Gradually whisk in 500 ml milk until smooth and thickened.

  4. Season with salt and a pinch of nutmeg. Remove from heat.

4. Cook the Minced Meat

  1. Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat.

  2. Sauté onion and garlic until translucent.

  3. Increase heat to high and add minced meat. Brown fully, breaking up clumps.

  4. Season with salt and optional meat seasoning. Stir in 200 g tomato sauce and simmer for a few minutes.

5. Assemble the Dish

  1. Grease a baking dish with vegetable oil.

  2. Layer half the cooked pasta on the bottom.

  3. Spread half the meat mixture evenly over the pasta.

  4. Pour half the béchamel sauce over the meat.

  5. Repeat with remaining pasta, meat, and béchamel.

6. Add Mozzarella Topping

Sprinkle 100 g grated mozzarella evenly over the top.

7. Bake

Bake for 20 minutes, or until the cheese is golden and bubbling.

8. Let It Rest

Allow the dish to rest a few minutes before serving for clean slices.
