OVEN FRIED POTATOES & ONIONS

  1. Preheat oven to 400°F (200°C). Grease a 9×13-inch casserole dish.

  2. Place potatoes in an even layer in the dish.

  3. Sprinkle onion and bacon over the potatoes, then dot with butter.

  4. Cover with foil and bake for 45 minutes.

  5. Remove foil and stir potatoes.

  6. Switch oven to broiler and brown for about 5 minutes, stirring every minute for even crispiness.

  7. Serve immediately.
