🥩🧀 Philly Steak Cheese Fries

Ingredients:

  • 4 cups frozen French fries (or homemade fries)
  • 8 oz steak (ribeye, sirloin, or flank), thinly sliced
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 small onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 small green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • 1 cup shredded provolone or mozzarella cheese
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • Salt & pepper to taste
  • Optional: sliced jalapeños or mushrooms

Instructions:

  1. Cook the Fries:
    • Bake or air-fry fries according to package or recipe instructions until crispy and golden.
  2. Sauté the Steak and Veggies:
    • Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
    • Add sliced steak, season with salt, pepper, and garlic powder, and cook until browned (2–3 minutes).
    • Add onions and bell peppers; cook until softened (about 3–4 minutes).
  3. Assemble:
    • Spread cooked fries on a serving plate or oven-safe dish.
    • Top evenly with the steak and sautéed veggies.
    • Sprinkle shredded cheese over everything.
  4. Melt the Cheese:
    • Place under a broiler or in a hot oven for 2–3 minutes until cheese is melted and bubbly.
