Put fresh cranberries in a slow cooker with these 3 ingredients. You’ll fall in love.
Grease the inside of your slow cooker with butter or non-stick spray.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cranberry sauce, cake mix, melted butter, and eggs. Stir until well combined.
Pour the mixture into the prepared slow cooker, spreading it evenly.
Cover and cook on low for 3 to 4 hours, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
Once done, turn off the slow cooker and let the cake cool slightly before serving.
Variations & Tips
For a nutty twist, add 1/2 cup of chopped walnuts or pecans to the batter. You can also experiment with different cake mixes, such as spice cake or chocolate, to change the flavor profile. If you prefer a more pronounced cranberry flavor, consider adding a handful of fresh or frozen cranberries to the mix. For a citrusy note, add the zest of one orange to the batter.
