Sausage, Peppers & Onions

Instructions

  1. Sear Sausages

    • Heat oil in a cast-iron skillet over medium heat.

    • Brown sausages on all sides (about 5 min). Remove and set aside.

  2. Sauté Onions

    • In the same skillet, cook onions for 5 min until softened.

  3. Add Peppers & Garlic

    • Stir in bell peppers and garlic. Cook 3 min until fragrant.

  4. Build Sauce

    • Add tomatoes and Italian seasoning.

    • Bring to a simmer, reduce heat, season with salt and pepper.

  5. Simmer with Sausages

    • Return sausages to skillet.

    • Simmer 20 min until cooked through and sauce thickens.


To Serve

  • Serve with crusty bread, mashed potatoes, or over rice.
