Taco Spaghetti

🌮 Taco Spaghetti Ingredients
Ingredient Quantity
Spaghetti 1 lb
Vegetable oil 1 tbsp
Ground beef 1 lb
Onion 1, finely chopped
Taco seasoning 3 tbsp
Tomato paste 1 tbsp
Canned tomatoes 1 cup (with juices)
Beef broth 1 cup
Cheddar cheese 1 cup, shredded
Tomato salsa ½ cup
Cilantro 1 tbsp, chopped
👨‍🍳 Step-by-Step Instructions
Step 1: Sauté the Onion
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.

Add the chopped onion and cook for about 5 minutes, until softened and fragrant.
Step 2: Brown the Beef
Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until no longer pink, about 5 minutes.
Break up the meat with a spatula as it cooks for even browning.
Step 3: Add Seasoning & Simmer
Stir in taco seasoning and tomato paste; cook for 1 minute to toast the spices.
Pour in the canned tomatoes and beef broth.
Bring to a gentle simmer and let cook for 10 minutes so the sauce thickens and flavors combine.
Step 4: Cook the Pasta
While the sauce simmers, bring a pot of salted water to a boil.

Add spaghetti and cook according to package directions (usually 10 minutes).
Drain well and set aside.
Step 5: Combine & Finish
Toss the drained spaghetti into the meat sauce and stir until fully coated.
Sprinkle shredded cheddar cheese over the top.
Cover the skillet with a lid and let the cheese melt for about 2 minutes.
🥄 To Serve:
Plate the Taco Spaghetti hot, topped with a spoonful of tomato salsa and a sprinkle of fresh cilantro. Serve with a crisp green salad or warm tortillas for a fun twist.
