Texas Roadhouse Butter Chicken Skillet

Directions:

Step 1: Prepare the Butter Sauce

  1. In a small bowl, mix together the softened butter, honey, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper until well combined. Set aside.

Step 2: Cook the Chicken

  1. Heat the olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat.
  2. Season the chicken breasts lightly with additional salt and pepper if desired.
  3. Add the chicken to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes per side , or until golden brown and cooked through (internal temperature of 165°F/75°C). Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate.

Step 3: Make the Sauce

  1. Pour the chicken broth into the skillet, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the pan to incorporate the flavor.
  2. Stir in the prepared butter mixture, whisking constantly until the butter is melted and the sauce is smooth and slightly thickened.

Step 4: Coat the Chicken

  1. Return the chicken breasts to the skillet, turning them in the sauce to coat evenly.
  2. Let the chicken simmer in the sauce for 1-2 minutes to absorb the flavors.

Step 5: Garnish and Serve

  1. Transfer the chicken to a serving platter or individual plates.
  2. Spoon the remaining sauce over the chicken and garnish with chopped parsley.
  3. Serve hot with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes, steamed vegetables, or crusty bread.
