Instructions
1. Preheat the Oven
Set oven to 350°F (175°C).
2. Mix the Base
In a large bowl, blend softened cream cheese and sour cream until smooth.
Add refried beans, green chilies (if using), and taco seasoning. Mix well.
Stir in 1 cup of the Mexican blend cheese.
3. Assemble the Dip
Spread mixture evenly into a 9×13-inch baking dish.
Top with remaining Mexican blend cheese and cheddar cheese.
4. Bake
Bake uncovered for 20–25 minutes, until cheese is melted and bubbly.
5. Garnish & Serve
Remove from oven and sprinkle with olives, green onions, and tomatoes if desired.
Serve warm with plenty of tortilla chips.
