Ingredients:
5-6 cups fresh or frozen cranberries
2 cups brown sugar
16 ounces fresh or frozen strawberries
1.5 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 teaspoon ground nutmeg
½ teaspoon ground cloves
¼ teaspoon ground ginger
Splash of orange juice (optional, can vary based on preference of citrus notes)
Instructions:
1. In a slow cooker, combine the cranberries, strawberries, ground cinnamon, ground nutmeg, ground cloves, ground ginger, and brown sugar.
2. Cover the slow cooker and cook on high for 4 hours or until the fruit has softened and the mixture has thickened.
3. Once done, put everything into blender and combine until you get a jam-like consistency. Do not overblend as you will get more of a buttery texture and not a jam.
