What to do with a new plant right after purchasing it

So let’s see what to do immediately after purchasing a plant.

Transport: Transport is a very delicate moment, as the plant can be damaged if not transported correctly. Make sure it is positioned low, perhaps between the seats, so that it does not jolt or fall during the trip. Also, be careful not to break the branches or trunk.
In the car: do not leave the plant in the car for too long, as especially at very high temperatures the plant could suffer from excessive heat.
Repotting: If you have just purchased a plant, it would be a good idea to repot it as soon as possible, especially if you have a garden. If it is a houseplant, check that the pot size is correct, otherwise repot it in a suitable one.
Water: Repotting is a delicate operation, which can affect the plant. For this reason, water it as much as necessary, but be careful of stagnation to avoid rotting.
Cold: if you cannot repot the plant immediately, and the temperatures are very low, place it in a bright place, to avoid the risk of frost.
Heat : if it is very hot, it is advisable to keep the plant in the shade before repotting it to avoid the leaves burning and to continue to water when necessary.
