When I made this, my kids asked for seconds. This recipe is going to be a regular go-to for us
Ingredients:
1 pie crust, 9 inches (store-bought or homemade)
3 large eggs
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup whole milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup grated Gruyere cheese
1/2 cup grated Swiss cheese
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
3 large eggs
1/2 cup heavy cream
1/2 cup whole milk
1/2 teaspoon salt
1/4 teaspoon black pepper
1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
1/2 cup grated Gruyere cheese
1/2 cup grated Swiss cheese
1/2 cup grated cheddar cheese
Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
2. Roll out the pie crust and fit it into a 9-inch pie dish. Trim the edges if needed and prick the bottom with a fork. Bake the crust for 8-10 minutes, until lightly golden. Remove from oven and set aside.
3. In a large bowl, whisk together the eggs, heavy cream, whole milk, salt, pepper, and nutmeg until well combined.
4. Stir in the grated Gruyere cheese, Swiss cheese, and cheddar cheese until evenly distributed.
5. Pour the egg mixture into the prebaked pie crust.
