For the same reasons that you shouldn’t use vinegar to clean stone floors, you shouldn’t use it to clean stone countertops. Vinegar can eat away at the stone’s coating, making it appear dull or smudged.
4. Computer Or Phone Screens

If you want to disinfect your phone or computer screens, stay away from the vinegar. The vinegar eats away at the protective coating on electronic screens, which is obviously no bueno. Instead, use a microfiber cloth or speciality screen cleaning product.
5. Waxed Furniture

It’s best not to clean wood furniture with a protective wax coating using vinegar. The vinegar eats away at the wax, making it appear dull and discolored. When it comes to wood furniture, it’s best to use a traditional furniture polisher.
It turns out vinegar isn’t the only cleaning staple you need to be careful with — there are also plenty of things you should never clean with dish soap that might surprise you.
