Ingredients

  • 6–8 ears corn on the cob

  • 1 tablespoon olive oil

  • 3 tablespoons butter

  • Kosher salt, to taste

  • Freshly ground black pepper, to taste

  • Other seasonings (optional: paprika, chili powder, herbs)

  • ⅔ cup water
