Instant Vortex Air Fryer Baked Potato

Jacket potatoes are the ultimate comfort food—crispy on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and endlessly customizable. Cooking them in the Instant Vortex Air Fryer takes them to the next level: perfectly crisp skins, tender centers, and ready in under an hour with minimal effort.


Ingredients

  • 4 large Russet potatoes (or 8 small ones)

  • 3 tbsp avocado oil (or other high-smoke-point oil)

  • Salt and pepper, to taste (or paprika, garlic powder, etc.)

  • Optional: Butter or toppings of your choice


Instructions

  1. Preheat air fryer to 400°F (200°C).

  2. Scrub & wash the potatoes, then pat dry with a towel.

  3. Prick each potato several times with a fork to allow steam to escape.

  4. Brush potatoes with oil and season generously with salt, pepper, or your preferred spices.

  5. Place directly in the air fryer basket or tray. Cook for 45–50 minutes, flipping halfway through.

  6. When done, the skins should be crispy and a fork should slide easily into the center.

  7. Slice open, add butter or toppings, and serve hot.
