Pineapple Cream Cheese Pound Cake

My husband called this cake “a slice of paradise”—and I couldn’t agree more!

Ingredients

  • 1 ½ cups butter, softened

  • 8 oz cream cheese

  • 3 cups sugar

  • 6 eggs

  • 3 cups flour

  • 1 tsp baking powder

  • ½ tsp salt

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • ½ cup crushed pineapple

  • 1 can pineapple slices (for topping)

  • ½ cup butter + ½ cup brown sugar (for caramelized topping)
