Ingredients
Bread Dough:
Bread flour or wheat flour: 300g (2 cups)
Egg: 1 large
Milk: 140g (0.6 cup)
Sugar: 12g (1 tbsp)
Yeast: 3g (1 tsp)
Salt: 3g (1/2 tsp)
Unsalted butter: 30g (2 tbsp), softened
Filling:
Unsalted butter: 80g (5 tbsp), softened
Black pepper: To taste
Scallions: Chopped, as needed
Additional salt: To taste
Topping:
Egg wash: 1 egg beaten with a little water
Sesame seeds: To sprinkle

Prepare the Dough:
In a large mixing bowl, combine the bread flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Mix well.

Shape the Dough:
Punch down the risen dough and roll it out into a rectangle.
Spread 80g of softened butter evenly over the dough.
Sprinkle chopped scallions, black pepper, and a little additional salt over the butter.
Roll the dough into a log and cut into equal pieces.
Prepare for Baking:
Arrange the dough pieces in a greased baking dish, ensuring they are evenly spaced.
Brush the tops with egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds.

Bake in the preheated oven for 25 minutes or until the tops are golden brown.
