Simple 3-ingredient chocolate croissants

Ingredients:
1 roll of puff pastry
100g dark or milk chocolate, chopped
1 egg, beaten (optional, for brushing the top of the croissants)
Preparation
: Prepare the puff pastry:
Carefully unroll the puff pastry roll on a lightly floured surface.
Cut the puff pastry:
Cut the puff pastry into triangles. You can make six or eight triangles, depending on the size you want your croissants.
Add the chocolate:
Place a few pieces of chocolate on the wide base of each puff pastry triangle.
