Ingredients

2 to 3 pounds of round steak or cube steak

1/2 cup all-purpose flour

1 medium onion, chopped

1 green bell pepper, chopped

2 cloves garlic, minced

1 can (14.5 oz) diced tomatoes

1 cup beef broth

1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce

1/2 teaspoon paprika

Instructions

Prepare the Beef:
Pat the steak dry with paper towels. Mix flour, salt, and pepper in a shallow dish and dredge the steak pieces until evenly coated.

Brown the Meat:
In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the steak and brown on both sides, about 3-4 minutes per side. Remove the meat and set aside.

Sauté the Vegetables:
In the same skillet, add the chopped onions, bell pepper, and garlic. Sauté until softened and fragrant, about 5 minutes.

Simmer the Steak:
Return the browned steak to the skillet, ensuring it’s submerged in the sauce. Reduce heat to low, cover, and simmer for 1 ½ to 2 hours, or until the meat is fork-tender. Stir occasionally.
