Whether you’re planning a romantic dinner, celebrating a special occasion, or simply treating yourself, Garlic Butter Lobster and Scallops delivers pure luxury on a plate.

Ingredients
For the Lobster and Scallops

2 lobster tails, thawed if frozen

8–10 large sea scallops, patted dry

Salt and black pepper, to taste

1 tablespoon olive oil

For the Garlic Butter Sauce

5 tablespoons unsalted butter

4 cloves garlic, minced

1 tablespoon lemon juice

1 teaspoon lemon zest

1 tablespoon fresh parsley, chopped

Optional: a pinch of crushed red pepper flakes for heat

Instructions
1. Prepare the Lobster

Using kitchen shears, cut down the top of each lobster tail shell to expose the meat. Gently pull the lobster meat upward, resting it on the shell for better cooking and flavor absorption. Season lightly with salt and pepper.

2. Sear the Scallops

Pat the scallops completely dry — this ensures a perfect golden crust.
Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat.
Place scallops in the pan and sear for 1–2 minutes per side, until golden brown. Remove and set aside.

3. Cook the Lobster

In the same pan, lower the heat to medium. Add 2 tablespoons of butter.
Place the lobster tails meat-side down and sear for 2 minutes. Flip, cover the pan, and cook another 4–5 minutes until the meat is opaque and tender.

4. Make the Garlic Butter Sauce

Add the remaining butter to the pan. Stir in garlic and cook for 30–45 seconds until fragrant.
Add lemon juice, zest, parsley, and red pepper flakes (if using).
Stir to combine, letting the butter bubble gently for extra flavor.

5. Bring It All Together

Return the scallops to the pan and spoon the garlic butter sauce generously over both the scallops and lobster. Heat for 1 minute to let flavors meld.

6. Serve
