I made this for a party, and people couldn’t stop chatting about it.
Ingredients
1 pound of ground sausage
1 small onion, diced
2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
1 can (10.5 oz) of cream of mushroom soup
1/2 cup of milk
1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder
1/2 teaspoon of black pepper
1 bag (32 oz) of frozen tater tots

Directions
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a large skillet, cook the sausage and diced onion over medium heat until the sausage is browned and the onion is soft. Drain any excess fat.
In a large mixing bowl, combine the cooked sausage and onion mixture with the shredded cheddar cheese, cream of mushroom soup, milk, garlic powder, and black pepper. Mix well.
Spread the sausage mixture evenly in a 9×13 inch baking dish.
Arrange the frozen tater tots in a single layer over the sausage mixture.
Bake in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, or until the tater tots are golden brown and crispy.
Let it cool for a few minutes before serving.
