Let’s begin our bread-making adventure by mixing the main ingredients. In a large bowl, combine the warm water, warm milk, dried yeast, and sugar. Using a whisk, mix until smooth. Add the sunflower oil and salt, beating constantly until the mixture is smooth and velvety.
Kneading the Dough
Now comes the satisfying part: kneading the dough! Gradually sift the wheat flour into the bowl, stirring with a wooden spoon. When it becomes too thick, it’s time to dig in. Place the dough on a wooden board and knead vigorously until you have a smooth, elastic dough.
Shaping the Bread
Divide the dough into 10 equal pieces and shape each into a loaf. Grease your hands with sunflower oil and brush each loaf generously. Place a small spoonful of butter on each, spreading it evenly. Use your fingers to spread the loaves into rings and fold the edges inward. Roll them up and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
